For example, most glue, adhesive, sealant & caulk used commercially today are actually thermosetting polymers that lose their bonding properties when reheated to a relatively-low melting point. That's why a blast from a heat gun is one of the easiest and most effective methods for quick removal of labels, stickers, etc. that otherwise involve very tedious effort (use caution when removing such from thermoplastic material that may have a melting point only slightly higher than the adhesive). Four-piece nozzle set includes: reduction nozzle concentrates output to more-powerful, focused heat blast; deflector nozzle allows diffused, less-intense application; flat spreader produces 3"-wide air flow over larger area and hood nozzle reduces flow to one side for less blow-back.
